Last month (November 2020), Micromax officially announced their comeback in India with two new Android smartphones IN Note 1 & IN 1b. As of now, only Micromax IN Note 1 is available for purchase (as a Flipkart Exclusive product) but before users share their opinions, it looks like some select reviewers have concerns regarding the “Build Quality & Quality Control” of the device.
You may have seen some of them are criticizing Micromax IN Note 1 for having low build quality and it is easily possible to separate its back panel from the device (even when the smartphone comes with a non-removable battery). This suggests that the quality control department compromised somewhere while passing units of IN Note 1. So, is this really true? Let’s find out what the company has to say about all these things.
Recently, Rahul Sharma (Co-founder of Micromax Informatics) has spoken on all measure concerns and queries related to their new IN Note 1 smartphone through the company’s official YouTube channel.
(Note: Both statements related to Quality Control & Build Quality of the Micromax IN Note 1 are in the Hindi language. For those who don’t understand Hindi, we have translated them into English too) .
..Mein bhi internet par kuch photographs dekh raha hu jiske andar quality control ko lekar issues bataye gaye hain. Aap sab logo ko mein batana chahunga ki ek bahut hi chotasa lot tha, initial lot tha jiske andar back panel ka issue aaya tha, wo hona nahi chahiye tha lekin usko immediately correct kar diya gaya hai.
Aap me se kisi ko bhi agar koi problem aati hai to aap 9811429191 is WhatsApp number par feedback dijiye aur apka problem immediately solve kar diya jayega.
[English translation: ..On the Internet, I’m also going through some photographs which are claiming quality control issues. But I would like to tell you all that, this problem related to the back panel of Micromax In Note 1 was present in a very small initial lot and we have immediately rectified it. We accept that it shouldn’t have to happen.
If anyone among you faces such an issue, you can contact us on 9811429191 through WhatsApp & we’ll immediately solve your issue].
..Hum jo bhi components use karte hai wo best se best hai. Ab jaise camera ke andar hum Samsung ka sensor use kar rahe hai. Agar screen ki baat kare to uska hardness level hai 8 jo ki utna hi accha hai jitna Corning Gorilla Glass 3 jise sari badi multinational companies use karti hai. Agar back panel ki baat kare to jo polycarbonate (PMMA) hai, yahi quality sari badi companies use karti hai kyun ki world me kafi limited companies hai jo isko banati hai.
Lekin kuch log aise hai jinhone bola ki phone thoda halka lag raha hai to mein puchna chahta hu ki ye 0.001 mm plastic bachake mein kaha leke jaunga? To aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Jin logon ko iske baad bhi tasalli nahi hoti hai, mein un sabhi ko invite karna chahunga apni factory me. App please ayiye hamari factory me, hamare quality standards dekhiye aur unko inspect kijiye. Sath hi hamari build quality jo hai, components hai wo aap check kijiye aur uske baad aap apni tasalli puri kijiye.
[English translation: Whatever components we’re using, they are best among the best. For example, we’re using the Samsung sensor for the camera and the screen has a hardness level of 8 which is as good as Corning Gorilla Glass 3 being used by all big multinational companies. If we talk about the back panel then it’s polycarbonate (PMMA) & this is the same quality all big companies are using because there are very limited companies who make them.
But there are some people who said, the phone feels very light in terms of back panel quality. So, I want to ask them what should I have to do by saving 0.001 plastic? Simply, there is no such issue. If there are some people who still don’t believe in us, I would like to invite them to our factory. Please come to the factory, check our quality standards & inspect them. Furthermore, you can also check our components for build quality & then trust us.]
It’s good to see Micromax has discussed about all “Build Quality & Quality Control” related concerns of IN Note 1.
