Recently, we found a lot of smartphone users were facing apps crashing issues randomly after updating applications in Android. Apps that were crashing were different, and that’s the reason at first it was hard to relate to the exact reason for that.
But it looks like Google was already aware of this issue & has responded to select media about the same.
The primary reason for this apps crashing issue is the “Android System Webview app”.
What does Android System Webview do?
Android System WebView is developed by Google and powered by Google Chrome. It is a preinstalled app in your Android smartphone, which allows the app developers to display the web content in their apps.

Unable to update Android System WebView?
After the recent update, many of the android users were unable to update the Android System WebView.
If you’re also facing the same then just do this:
Go to Settings → Apps → Manage Apps → Google Play Store → Click on Clear data & Select Clear the cache.
