Previously we reported that Xiaomi Mi A3 was bricking after downloading & installing the latest Android 11 update which was released ahead of new year. Since then users are consistently complaining on social media that their device is not in a usable condition.
Xiaomi’s social media team was responding to users that they are aware of the issue & working to fix it. But at the same time users were claiming that after visiting to the nearest service center they were not getting a positive response. Now, Xiaomi India has officially started to sending out a press release regarding the bricking issue on Mi A3:
If you’re frustrated with this issue & looking for a solution then this is a great news for you. As per a press release, what you have to do is, just visit the nearest service center of Xiaomi & they will be fixing your issue. This fix will be free of cost & unconditionally (even if your device is out of warranty).
Having a question regarding whether to to install a new update in their Mi A3 or not?
Well, Xiaomi has already paused the faulty rollout. We’ll let you know once a new & bug free OTA update starts to rollout but till then don’t try to install anything manually on your own basis.
Update (January 7th): Xiaomi has now re-released a new Android 11 update for Mi A3 users. But it looks like some touch screen related issues are present in the new one. Check out this article for more information.
